Chopped carbon fiber products provide good processability, resin matrix compatibility, and good translation of mechanical and electrical properties.

Milled carbon fibers are random, short-length fiber materials. Typical applications include electronic chip carrier trays, conductive flooring, and chassis for electronic business machines.

Pelletized chopped products are dust and "fly" free. Pelletized products can be used in batch handling equipment, providing rapid, uniform, and zero "fly" distribution into pre-blends.

Pelletized milled carbon fibers are random, short-length fiber materials employing a low-level binder to provide pellet integrity during processing. Pelletized milled products offer all of the performance benefits of regular milled carbon fibers in a free flowing, dust and "fly" free spherical form. The pelletized milled grades are ideally suited for automatic feeding and metering of the material into compounding extruders. Plastic components reinforced with pelletized milled carbon fibers are dimensionally stable and distortion-free.

Water dispersible chopped carbon products use a water dispersible sizing that permits easy fiber dispersion into a randomly orientated system with no individual fibers remaining blended together. Fibers with these characteristics are typically used in a water slurry process to make electrically conductive paper or mat.
